AN0007 坂本舞 Full-Length Promo

Back to Ashita Ne! - the pop group! The second picture for this project is a full-length promotional picture of 坂本舞 (Sakamoto Mai). Eventually we'll do a picture like this for each member of the group, and present them like real publicity shots. Again, the drawing has been done with coloured pencil, and the finishing work done in Adobe Illustrator.

AN0006 - Miu-chan

Our next digital artwork is Miu-chan. Like the others, she was created as a pencil sketch and then coloured and finished in Adobe Photoshop. We decided to use an abstract background this time, and only to apply a minimal amount of blur to the colour layers, giving her a slightly stronger look.

AN0005 - ではまた明日 Single Cover

Hi! Wow, it's been a while since our last post - a whole month - but in that time we've been working away on a great new concept. We've decided to create a fictional pop group called "Ashita Ne!" and do some artwork based around them - CD covers, promotional pictures, etc.

The members of the group are Sakamoto Mai, Mitsuoka Kaori and Fukada Asami. Our first project is a cover for their debut single, ではまた明日 (Dewa Mata Ashita). For all the artwork relating to this group, we decided to use coloured pencil rather than digital to give it a unique look. Once the basic illustration was done, the artwork was transferred to Adobe Illustrator for cleaning up and lettering.
